The Consumer grid is restricted to 15 Recent
Consumers due to the amount of consumer profiles that can be generated over
time.
Adding a New
Consumer
A consumer is typically created at the point of job
creation but can also be created by selecting the Add New (+) from bottom right
corner of the Consumer Grid.
1. Basic Information – Complete the required
information and select Save.
NOTE: Additional data
entry is optional and requires User to re-enter the consumer card.
a. First & last name*
b. Patient number
c. Date of birth*
d. Primary phone
e. Client MRN (medical record number)
f. Gender
g. Preferred gender – for interpreting services
h. Language – primary language for interpreting
services
2. Insurance – Allows User to document insurance
information:
a. Insurance name – Select from drop down, which is
maintained with the Maintain Dropdown menu.
b. Policy / Group / Member ID number
c. Eligibility
d. Effective / Expiration date
e. Address
f. Comments
3. Customers – Client accounts will automatically
populate as they request services on behalf of the Consumer.
4. Work-logs – Service details will automatically populate
as they are completed on behalf of the Consumer.
5. Comments – Allows User to document specific consumer
information as needed.
Navigating the Consumer Grid
1. Search
bar – Allows User to search for a specific consumer based on the Consumer’s
first and/or last name. The User can double-click on the Consumer's line to review or make adjustments to the profile.
2. Import
Consumer Data – Allows User to import:
a. Select Import Consumer Data.
b. Select Download Sample File or Next if you already
have one on file.
c. Select Upload File to import completed template.
d. Review data & select Submit.
NOTE: Required fields and formatting must be complete for
a successful upload.

3. Recent Consumers – Allows User to refresh to last 15
active consumers.
4. Find Duplicate – Allows User to find potential
duplicates based on selected criteria (name, date of birth, phone number,
and/or address).

NOTE: Duplicates can occur due to end-users adding new consumers with partial
information, which may not be recognized in future entries. It is recommended that end-users always
verify provide, at a minimum, the full name with correct spelling and date of
birth to help identify consumers.
a. Select criteria to locate potential duplicates.
b. Drag the duplicate profile onto the other.
c. Select OK / Cancel when merge notification appears.
