Understanding
Failed Deliveries
With security practices becoming
stricter, your clients may have security settings that block email
notifications from the Workforce OS platform. This is due to the platform’s intent to send email notifications on your
behalf, which can appear as spoofing.
A Sender Policy Framework
(SPF) record is a type of Domain Name Service (DNS) TXT record that
identifies which mail servers are permitted to send an email on behalf of your
domain. The purpose of an SPF record is to detect and prevent spammers from
sending messages with forged From addresses on your domain.
Option 1: As LSPWare will send
emails on your behalf at email@YourCompanyName.com you will need to have your email administrator add or
modify your SPF record.
For example, you will need to add as
a TXT record in your DNS “v=spf1 include:mg.lspware.com -all”
Also, if your company uses a DMARC
record, make sure "P=none" is set.
If you would like to review the SPF record for your
DNS, here is a link to a tool that will help you
validate it.
Option 2: Hardcode the “From” placeholder to noreply@lspware.comby replacing the original placeholder. This allows the email to be delivered as a
direct delivery from LSPWare.com vs from LSPWare.com on behalf of “your
company.”

If you need assistance after trying these two options
without success, please contact our Support Team and provide the following:
1. Email address reported as a failed
delivery
2. Email template reported as a failed
delivery
3. Job number(s) associated with failed
delivery
4. Confirm you had tried the two
options above
