If enabled for your WFOS site, the SMS
notification feature can provide an additional method of communication to
interpreters. Notifications can be
automatically sent for job changes, offers, and reminders.
Maintain
Company Settings (Administration menu)
Allows the Agency to determine the
number of hours prior to a job assignment to send a SMS reminder. This can be found under Job Reminder
Settings.
Maintain SMS
Templates (Administration menu)
Allows the Agency to configure the
SMS message for each encounter.
Interpreter
(Database menu)
Within each Interpreter’s profile,
the Admin must enable “Allow SMS Messages”, which will be made available once a
mobile phone number has been entered. The Admin can further indicate which type(s) of SMS messages are to be
sent.

Profile (Interpreter Web Portal)
From the Profile tab of their web
portal, the Interpreter can opt in or out of each type of SMS notification as
long as the Admin has enabled “Allow SMS Messages” to for the Interpreter.
If the Interpreter disables
(unchecks) “Allow SMS Messages” or all three SMS types, the Interpreter will be
required to contact an Admin to obtain SMS notification access back.

phone plan.
